Barkerville Series - Cecile Allen

9/26/2024

We recently wrapped up Cecile Allen's Barkerville Series, a captivating exhibit by a talented local artist. Cecile’s work beautifully captured the rich history and character of the historic gold rush town of Barkerville, bringing to life its stories, architecture, and landscapes. The exhibit received an overwhelmingly positive response from visitors, who appreciated the detail in these beautiful coloured-pencil drawings.
Cecile’s paintings offered a nostalgic journey through time, each piece infused with her deep connection to the region. We’re thrilled to continue celebrating her work, and for those who missed the exhibit, Cecile’s cards are still available for purchase in our gift shop.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support this wonderful showcase of local history and talent!
